THEY CAN'T GET EXPERIENCE
They are frustrated and feel like they weren’t really equipped for the “real world” of modern marketing and don’t have what employers are looking for.
THEY DON'T HAVE CONNECTIONS
Having left the “nest” of their university or training-provider they feel isolated. They don’t understand the current industry landscape or have the connections or experience they need to get their foot in the door.
EVEN THINKING OF GIVING UP
I've spoken to so many marketers that are full of self doubt, even feeling like a failure to launch. Many turn to other “stop-gap” jobs in retail, IT, Admin or hospitality to “pay the bills” and feel trapped, and like they are giving up on the career of their dreams. .
But it doesn't have to be that way....
I was continually hearing stories from talented people with the passion for marketing – feeling stuck and let down in their pursuit of starting their career, thanks to:
- Not having a clear idea of what sort of marketer they want to be
- Not having the connections or industry know how to get their foot in the door
- Feeling like they didn’t fit the stereotype of a “typical marketer”
- Battling with self-doubt around their ability to be a successful marketer
When I kept seeing marketing graduates around the country who we’re feeling stuck, after applying for numerous entry level marketing roles, and unable to get their foot in the door, I decided to do something about it.
In fact, I've seen countless marketers, even some of the "hardest cases" turn their situation around quickly...
And now I'm on a mission to help as many as I can, as quickly as I can!
